ARTISTS IN EDUCATION

Calling all disability-identified artists!

Are you interested in applying for an OAC grant but not quite sure what kinds of grants are available, how to navigate the system, how to write up grants, or when the deadlines are? Join us for the first Tangled Arts + Disability / Ontario Arts Council Information Session on Friday, February 13 from 1-4PM in room 408 of the 401 Richmond Building.

Join two OAC officers, Christina Akrong (Associate Arts Education Officer and Northern Arts Program Officer at the OAC) and Maura Broadhurt (Associate Arts Education Officer at the OAC), who will present on how disability-identified artists can apply into various OAC grants and programs. There will be a particular emphasis the Artists in the Schools program (http://www.arts.on.ca/page28.aspx) and Christina and Maura will also answer general questions about applying for OAC grants. This will be a small group to facilitate intimate discussion.

Open to emerging and established artists.

The room is barrier free and ASL will be provided. For any accessibility questions/requests, please contact Eliza at eliza@tangledarts.org
